SFI is sponsoring the IUCN World Conservation Congress to support the shared goal of conserving the environment and harnessing nature-based solutions to global challenges. An independent non-profit organization, SFI has the scale to make a difference with more than 150 million hectares of forests certified to the SFI Forest Management Standard and tens of millions more positively influenced by the SFI Fiber Sourcing Standard. SFI leverages our scale and diverse network to achieve shared goals such as mitigating climate change, maintaining and recovering biodiversity, promoting best management practices for water quality, educating future generations, and building green career pathways to service the forest and conservation sectors with a diverse and resilient workforce.
