Are Cows the Elephant in the Room for Biodiversity Conservation? The Consequences of Unsustainable Livestock

The Global Forest Coalition (GFC) will share its research regarding the corporate capture of the climate, biodiversity and food systems summits and highlight the role of such pressures on biodiversity conservation, or destruction for that matter. It will also present the strategies that women, indigenous peoples and local communities are implementing, finding creative solutions that continue to strengthen the interests of communities in the face of increased corporate take-over of policy making.
