Jeff is an independent researcher. Previously, he worked in the National Commission for UNESCO as a Programme Officer for the Culture Sector, and has been involved in the nomination process of Mayon Volcano through the Provincial Government of Albay. He is an alumnus of CBWNCL 2018 of the UNESCO Chair at the University of Tsukuba. He has a background in philosophy, and currently his research interests lie in environmental hermeneutics and social volcanology.
