Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea
The MOE aims to protect the environment in the country and contribute to the global efforts to protect the Earth.
As the Republic of Korea's State Member of IUCN, the Ministry of Environment has supported the work of IUCN by co-hosting the World Conservation Congress 2012 and two World Leaders Conservation Forums (2015, 2018) and sponsoring a number of motions. The Ministry has also contributed to the global implementation of the IUCN Programme and resolutions as a Framework Partner since 2013. During this Congress, the Ministry is hosting the exhibition 'Korea Pavilion' to promote activities and achievements of IUCN member organizations in the country. A number of events are scheduled to take place at the exhibition, and all members are welcome to join.
