Manager, Nature Action, World Business Council of Sustainable Development (WBCSD)

I am a sustainability professional with more than 15 years of experience in helping business understand and take action on nature and biodiversity.  I catalyse dialogue and action for individuals who want to engage with “the other side” on sustainability challenges, whether it is working with 20 international companies on "nature positive", or volunteering locally to support local actors in defining a common action plan to address the climate crisis. I apply strategic and innovative thinking to help others in designing effective change processes at individual, organisational and sectoral levels. To accelerate transformation, it is important to build on the experiences and lessons of others – I curate and harvest shared knowledge so that it can be readily built on by others. I joined WBCSD in March 2020 as manager of the Nature Action project. Before, I was with IUCN for 15 years working on a range of controversial topics from GMOs and biofuels to fracking and mining.
