Mónica is currently the Federation Development Officer at the International Ranger Federation (IRF) where she is also actively involved in the Universal Ranger Support Alliance. She has over 8 years of working experience in conservation initiatives in México and leading technical cooperation networks for protected areas in Latin America including the Latin American Alliance to Strengthen Protected Areas (ALFA 2020) and previous Focal Point for the Latin American Network for Technical Cooperation in National Parks, other Protected Areas, Wild Flora and Fauna (RedParques) at the National Commission for Protected Areas in Mexico.
