Ms Lynda MANSSON

Director General, MAVA Foundation

Lynda has been the Director General of the MAVA Foundation since 2010. She is responsible for implementing the strategy of the foundation and leading the secretariat team. Since joining the foundation, Lynda has overseen a complete reshaping of MAVA and has led the foundation to incorporate a new programme on sustainable economy. Lynda's main focus now is to ensure the sustainability of the foundation’s work even after its closing in 2022.

Lynda is also invested in developing leaders and has an IDC/EMCC coaching certificate and an ACC accreditation from the International Coaching Federation.

Before joining the foundation, Lynda spent 13 years with WWF International in Switzerland. She holds an MBA from the Walter A. Haas School of Business (University of California, Berkeley). Lynda acts as President of the Board of the Prespa Ohrid Nature Trust and is also on the board of the African Leadership University and Partners for a New Economy.
