enviroLENS is responding to the demands of the legal sector for ready-to-access evidence and scenario information on environmental violations. This session provides an introduction of enviroLENS project and the developed eLENS Portal including its tools and services to the audience. During the session we will outline the vision and aim of the project and highlight the three innovation types the project addresses. Further, a demonstration of the power of the eLENS Portal will be shown as an advanced information system uniting Earth observation with environmental law and legal domain to create novel and unique types of services. By applying the eLENS Alert and Monitoring tool to two selected cases, we will provide an illustrative example of how innovative Earth Observation-based services can support evidence-based decision making in the environmental domain.
