International Marine Protected Areas Network (IMPANA): Tools for connectivity of Marine Protected Areas

How best to use the knowledge and expertise of the world’s leading MPA agencies within the MPAAP community to set the global marine conservation agenda for the next decades? Important Marine Mammal Areas (IMMAs) and Important Marine Turtle Areas (IMTAs) provide important information on biogeographical networks. This needs to draw on networks of managers as the only way to anchor it to decision making processes and implementation of protection measures.
