Youth Speak Representative

Alexis Cañari, Youth Speak Representative for the IUCN GYS is a young professional trained as an internationalist and a student in the master's program Politics and Public Administration(specialization in International Administration and Conflict Management and Comparative Politics) at the University of Konstanz, Germany. Alexis was part of the Environmental Peacebuilding Association's Road to Geneva Young Rapporteurs program, in which she reinforced her focus on conflict analysis and prevention, environmental peacebuilding, and multidimensional security connected to the data sciences field. As a YSR, she developed the teaching brief Healing the Human-Nature Relationship: Youth Perspectives on Positive Peace which has been presented as part of the outcomes from the IUCN GYS 2021. Alexis is the co-founder of the social enterprise Hello World that seeks to democratize the learning of languages in LA.
