Dr Duc LE
Deputy Director, Center for Nature Conservation and Development (CCD)
Dr. Duc Le received a doctorate degree in 2015 from Technische Universität Dresden, Faculty of Environmental Sciences. Duc has worked for several international environmental organizations in Vietnam before being a Deputy Director of the Center for Nature Conservation and Development (CCD) in Vietnam. He also takes a role as Director of the CleverForestry Consultancy. His work is to promote natural forest conservation related policy advocacy, biodiversity conservation, counter wildlife trafficking, law enforcement for species and protected areas, sustainable forest management, FSC forest certification, legal timber trade, supply chain analysis, forest government monitoring system, green development and transform the global marketplace into a force for saving the world’s valuable and threatened species and forests. He is using the IUCN Green List as a tool to promote better governance for Protected Areas in Vietnam.
