Imèn is the regional Vice Chair of the IUCN-World Commission on Protected Areas for North Africa, Middle East and West Asia. She has over 18 years of experience in environmental management, climate adaptation and international policy.  Her particular focus areas: climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, nature-based solutions, protected areas and marine and coastal environment.
