I have graduated biology-ecology in 1996 on the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science. Since the year 2000 I have been working for the Nature Protection Directorate that is now internal unit of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.  My responsibilities, among others, include preparation and implementation of national legislation relevant for protection of species, their habitats and habitat types, including in the context of the Natura 2000 ecological network, as well as harmonization of that legislation with the EU Habitats Directive and Birds Directive and where relevant with international agreements in the field of nature protection to which Croatia is a Party.
