I work as a researcher at the Norwegian Institute for Nature research. My research focuses on human behavior ecology, Spatial Multi-Criteria Decision Analyses, sustainable landscape planning (see also www.nina.no/consite), area neutrality and value creation. I’m originally trained as wildlife ecologist and my PhD degree focused on wolverine ecology. Now I work on different otter ecology and conservation projects and am the Norwegian representative for the otters in the IUCN SSG. I have a good understanding and experience in interdisciplinary research and in embracing multidisciplinary frameworks and works with participatory processes, dialogue methods, and conflict management.
