Mr Nico MUZI
Europe Director, Mighty Earth
Nico Muzi is the Europe Director of Mighty Earth, leading efforts to break the link between Europe’s voracious appetite for industrial meat and deforestation in South America. He has been campaigning and communicating on climate issues since the late 2000s.
Nico started his career at global PR agency Weber Shandwick where he managed the CleanTech practice of the EU office. In 2012, Nico landed the job of director of communications and campaigns with Europe’s leading NGO campaigning for cleaner transport, T&E. He produced and co-directed the award-winning documentary, Frontera Invisible, which shows the impact of palm oil expansion on farmers and indigenous communities in Colombia.
Nico was born and raised in Argentina's Pampas and holds a master’s degree on international political economy from the University of Kent.
