Mr Pierre Alexandre BAPST

Chief Sustainability Officer, Hermès International

Pierre-Alexandre BAPST is the Chief Sustainability Officer of Hermès International since 2011.

He is in charge of the development of Group strategy, global improvement programs and the coaching of Hermès production métiers, retail subsidiaries and corporate functions worldwide. He is also Hermès representative in Livelihoods Carbon Fund.

Pierre-Alexandre joined Hermès in 2006, where he was successfully Chief Audit & Risk Officer and Director for Digital operations & CRM.

Prior to that, he was a Partner at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen in Paris, served in the Navy within the Navy Seals Commandos (Jaubert), and holds an MBA from ESCP Europe. Married and father of 3, he is a waterman (longboard surfing and diving), and in love with the Bask Country.
