Dr Piotr PAWLAK

Senior GBV Advisor, IUCN

Dr. Piotr Pawlak is currently serving as Senior GBV Advisor for IUCN in Washington DC, US. His technical expertise is in promoting gender equality, preventing and responding to gender-based violence, and engaging men and boys for social change. He is a researcher and published author or co-author of numerous reports on gender equality, gender-based violence and violence against women and girls, and transforming harmful gender norms for better development outcomes. Piotr holds a Ph.D. in Human Rights and Peace Studies from Mahidol University, Thailand, and a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Idaho, USA.
