Global Director of Project Implementation (Biodiversity, Carbon & Water). I graduated from the National University of Colombia as a Forest Engineer. I have a Master in Forest and Environmental Conservation with an emphasis in Climate mitigation and a Master in Applied Economics, emphasizing Environmental Credits pricing. With 15 years of experience, I lead interdisciplinary teams worldwide to develop Forestry, Land Use, Payment for Environmental Services, and Avoided Deforestation projects. I certified and implemented international projects under voluntary and compliance carbon markets related to REDD+, ecosystems restoration, and reforestation. In the last five years, I've been dedicated to developing strategies to implement Nature-Based Solutions by promoting public-private cooperation and investment to face the twin crisis: Biodiversity Loss and Climate Change.
